Tokyo Banana from my younger cousin who just came back from Japan! She's SO lucky.. I think it was some kind of trip by school or something. Don't really know much about the details. I wanted to ask her to get me a box of Tokyo Banana but didn't made it in time before she left. So I tried my luck and whatsapp her about it hopefully she will see it and yup, she saw my msg.. After she came back, she offered to give it to me instead. So this is my gift from her all the way from Japan hehe ╭(╯3╰)╮
I really really miss it ever since I tried it for the first time don't know how many years back.. I think it was before it went super mainstream lol.. My Sis's friend who worked for Singapore Airlines bought it for her cus she said a lot of people who go to Japan will get it. At that point of time, I've never seen or heard about it before! After a few months, first I saw Cheeserland posted about it and then other bloggers also started going gaga about it, that was when I realised there was actually a hype going on with it. And I super regretted I didn't took photos of it!!
I didn't know what it was, but after trying it, I really like it! Just so sad that I didn't have any photos then.. Hmmmm...

First you choose the type of fish (Sea Bass, Red Sea Bream, Golden Snapper), then you choose what size you want, followed by the flavour (Spicy & Numbing, Fermented Black Bean, Spicy & Fragrant, Pickled Cabbage, Chopped Chili, Pickled Chili) you want and how spicy you want it to be and lastly, choose the side dishes you want to throw in with the fish!
Normally I would choose sea bass for my fish, regular if we have only 2 pax, even if we have more than 2 pax, we will also order regular and maybe order a side dish, not the kind of side dishes to go with the fish, but like.. Aiya you know what I mean.. Haha.. The flavour, personally I like the spicy and fragrant. I've also tried the spicy and numbing but I really really don't fancy the numbing feeling lol.. And how spicy I want it to be would be the either the mild/medium. I've never never ordered the spiciness more than medium. Lol..
There was once, their medium was so super spicy we had to asked them to make it blander. The Bf totally cannot take it, Ellaine was worst as she don't really eat spicy food and even me, who eat spicy food almost everyday also cannot take it. My stomach was creating chaos haha.. And straight after we left the shop to wait for taxi, I needed the toilet sooooo badly lol.... Was such a joke that day hahaha ~(≧▽≦)/~
So now we order the mild for the spiciness most of the time.
