Quick updates || April 2014

Okay, so I've done my quick updates on Feb and Mar, now it's time for Apr!

I've always wanted to try out this tze-char place, Ban Leong Wah Hoe Seafood, as it was quite highly raved about, so I decided to get my family to go have dinner together when I happened to have an off day on weekend! 

We ordered quite a lot in my opinion, but when the bill came, it was quite reasonable! We were all kinda surprised.

I don't know why my hair so messy, focus on the crab claw I'm holding on to!! 

Overall I kinda like this place. Will definitely go back again with my family, but definitely not by myself as the place is very inaccessible!

Been visiting JB very frequently during the Bf and my off days... Normally we would just go to City Square and KSL, so we decided to try out the buffet at the KSL Hotel, I forgot is it the Bf's friend say it's very nice or is it Bestie and Lf cus I think we wanted to go in together but they cannot make it or something...

Overall I find it so-so only... Have no intention of returning. Lol.

After the dinner we walked around a bit before heading for some massage time then head back to Sgp.

2D1N Genting trip with the Bf!

Took a flight to KL to save time cus it's SO much faster!

This Benny Cheong keep insisting that I take a photo for him with the trolley at the airport. -.-

First meal at Restoran Chuai Heng. Had a very very hard time locating it. When we were following the map, I selected the car instead of walking, which made us went a BIG round before reaching. Oops. 

Wanted to try their Peking Duck, but sadly, the minimum order was 1/2 of the duck if I never remember wrongly and unfortunately there was only 2 of us for the trip, so we had to give it a miss! 

The food we ordered was so-so only lah, not considering to return to this place for dim sum in the future.

Proceeded to check in to our hotel in Genting... And actually I don't remember what happened in between lol... But well, I have photo of our dinner!

The food there tasted really good! Added this place to one of my favourites in Genting. Hehe.

Headed back to KL to try the highly raved about Kin Kin Ban Mee!

This is another place which we took a looong time to find! The taxi uncle don't know about this place, so we had to on our google map and follow haha!

It was damn empty! We were expecting it will be damn crowded.. Guess our timing for eating is really different with 'normal' people haha! Even when we went to the Restoran Chuai Heng, we thought it was not open for business cus it was completely empty and some of the staffs were sleeping on the chairs inside.  

The ban mee was great!! The chili damn good please!!

Met up with Sook Shian for catching up. We can really talk all day long one. Haha... Very long never meet her already! Miss her so~ 

This meetup, we visited I am.... I tried their fish and chips, quite nice one leh... We also ordered a slice of cake and their rainbow crepe. I can only conclude that I'm really not a fan of crepes. I like cakes better. Haha..

Quick update || March

Approximately 2 weeks after I quitted my job at Zara, I found another job at a Taiwan company.

Before I went for the interview at this Taiwanese company, I went to Burberry and passed the first interview, I was arranged to attend the 2nd interview few days later but sadly I was not recruited. I also went to Norbreeze for a position at Pandora, but was not given a call until a month later.  -.-  I thought of trying out beauty line, so I went for the interview, but after I went to look at the working environment, I rejected the offer. Haha... Because I am VERY sick of being in the retail line already, I got a really strong urge to switch to office, but due to my education level and unskillfulness at Microsoft Office/Word, I didn't manage to get my courage together and send my CV to any of the office jobs. Lol...

So I was kinda desperate for jobs already when I was at the company's interview. After I went down to see the working environment, I decided to just take up this job although their basic salary was a lot lower than Zara's. The HR officer promised that the commission their staff can hit on average was a minimum amount which I think when added up to their basic salary, it was actually an acceptable amount comparable to Zara. But it was a different story after I actually started work. When I voiced out to them that the salary is too low, the operation manager told me it is really based on your performance. So I decided that I didn't want to continue in that company, she then suggested that I transfer to another store with higher traffic so I will get higher commission. I was so wrong. The next store I went to is just basically scary loh! Everyone is so competitive and not helpful at all. Worse than Zara please. At least in Zara, people in our own department will help one another but definitely not in that particular brand's outlet.

The Operation Manager was kinda pushy but it's okay given that the store manager was a really really nice person. And I was so lucky when I was transferred to the other outlet, she was going to transfer over there as well. Hehe. Sad to leave all my super nice colleagues at the first outlet I was assigned to.

BKT from JB. I only take BKTs when I'm in Malaysia... In Sgp you ask me eat BKTs, I really cannot. Lol...
