Short getaway w/ Babylove - KL & Genting


DAY 1 - KL


I went to collect our coach tixs after I end work and then waited for my Babylove at Golden Mile Complex.

Waited for him for so long then went to the toilet and bought unripe mangoes to eat on the coach . Hehe :B

We reached KL at around 4-5am . Encountered some problems with checking into the hotel we reserved via internet . At last we settled down at another branch of the Orkid hotel .

Our budget hotel . Haha ..

First thing first on the first day ! TIMES SQUARE !!

Had our lunch at this chicken rice restaurant .

After lunch went to walk around some more and this uncle here got so excited upon seeing this shop .

There were a few shopping malls around that area , all of walking distance . Was looking for sandals, but none caught my eye , my only loots were a pig-rabbit soft-toy and a top . Haha ..

Decided to take the train to somewhere further , the Chinatown in KL . It's not my first time in KL , but definitely the first time I'm taking their train !

After we reach Chinatown station we totally got no idea where to walk to .. Just anyhow walk and ask people !


Stopped by this temple for a while ..

Continued walking and finally we reached Petaling Street !! ^^

He bought shades ..

Walked and walked then he stopped to have this bak kut teh by the roadside . I don't fancy bak kut teh , so he ate it alone . Haha ..

Bought a handcraft item while he was eating ..

Petaling Street is heaven when you are looking for non-authentic branded goods .

Headed back and went to Sungei Wang . A&W , my dinner .


Before we walked towards Sungei Wang , saw this 2 amazing guy . Haha perfect match .

After my dinner we walked around again and again , round and round , never took notice which shopping malls we went , but nothing to buy at all .

Went back to our hotel to get some rest , nap a little while , woke up around 1am , went to have our supper at this place we came across while we were randomly walking around .

Went back to hotel again after supper and there goes our Day 1 .
