I was in Town with the Bf .. We took soooo long to decide what to have for dinner . We wanted to try Koh Grill and Sushi Bar but the queue was SO insanely long !! Hence......... The bf and I decided to try out The Sushi Bar since it's like so highly raved about too .
It was a Thursday and we went in at about 8pm . For that timing , I guess it was considered quite crowded , almost like full ? We had to wait for a while before we get a tiny space . It was so cramped to the extent it was uncomfortable as the next table is like super near .
We ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry with Rice (S$13.90) , Chicken Katsu with Rice (S$10.90) , Soft Shell Crab Aburi Roll (S$16.90) and Hot Green Tea (S$1.50) . Surprisingly , there were no GST/Service Charge ! Quite good huh .. But anyways , they also never give much service , even if they did , their service also still got a lot of room for improvements .
They are quite slow in doing things and unorganised . Like .. I don't think they even know what they are supposed to do . Payment also to be made at the counter . Hot water for your green tea to be refilled on your own . Maybe that explains for the no GST/Service Charge . Well , we should still be happy dining there ! Undeniably , in town area , plus yummy Japanese food , the price is reasonable .
