It was the Bf's birthday on the 14th of December and I could only get an off day on the 14th instead of 2 days which we agreed on, but cus I just started my job hence I didn't really want to have too much requests. So, we had no choice but to cancel our Genting trip plan and instead, we planned an impromptu Melaka trip! Hehe mad happy one cus I've wanted to visit Malacca since forever!
Woke up early in the morning to catch the 8am coach bus to Melaka/Malacca, Malaysia. Didn't expect the journey to be that long.. It took about 4 hours! Oh my god.
Anyways, first stop was for lunch after we stepped our foot on Jonker Street!
Chicken rice ball!
Honestly speaking, the chicken is really good but not the rice. Seriously.. Hmm slightly overrated? But still worth a try, as it is really cheap for half chicken + 15 rice balls. Their chili and lime juice also nice leh! ^^

Super cute and interesting stool I wanted to get so so much but didn't cus of the heavy weight! Didn't want to lug it home all the way, it'll be a nightmare. Lol...
Photo frame which I took a super long time to decide whether I want to get it or not and in the end I decided not to. Hahaha.. Wanted to get it and put a picture taken in Melaka of me and the Bf, but realised we wouldn't be able to get any nice shots cus it was just the 2 of us :(
After walking around for a while, we realised we were at Jonker 88 already. The chicken rice balls haven't even digested, we had to stuff ourselves with food again hahaha.... Just in case we cannot find the way back or something, we just went ahead and order our food!!
I already told the Bf the Laksa (RM5++) not worth trying cus I've read reviews and it is not nice!! But he insisted he want to try.. And really lor...... Not nice. Some more still eat until so bloated -.- Stubborn man.
Their Chendol was really really good though! I looove it. I like that they topped it off with the Gula Melaka which was damn good please. Must must must try!! I ordered the Baba Chendol (RM3) and ordered the Baba Durian Chendol (RM4) for the Bf.

After stuffing ourselves to the maximum, we had nowhere to go... :'(
But just nice!!! We came across this Baba-Nyonya Heritage Museum. I've seen reviews on it on Tripadvisor and told the Bf we should give it a go since we also got nothing better to do already lol.. We were damn full and cannot afford to eat anything else anymore if not our tummy will probably explode hahahahaha ~
The tour costed RM12 per pax. The Nyonya lady guided us inside with all the other tourists and told us stories and history of the house. Interesting and beautiful place. Worth a visit~

After our mini tour in the heritage museum, we walked until damn exhausted before we finally reached at the Satay Celuk place that we wanted to have dinner at, but the queue was really scary... All the way until 2-3 shop houses away..... Oh mai god lor... D:
Selfie a bit while queuing before the Bf realised we wouldn't have enough time to queue and eat before we need to leave for the bus terminal. Sadly, we had to leave the queue and jumped into a taxi to go to another Satay Celuk place, but it was closed already. :(
So in the end, the taxi uncle brought us here!
Very very gooooooood. And super super cheap @ RM0.70 per stick.
BUT..........
There's always pros and cons. The satay sauce....... maybe got thousands and thousands of people's saliva. LOL!!!!!
And yes, we still ate it.
You can choose to change the whole sauce to a new one, which costs RM48 and the boss will do a new one in front of you right away. The Bf and I contemplated for super long on whether we should change or not but in the end I decided not to cus I see all the locals also never ask to change leh... Only the Singaporean family of 4 next table to us changed it. So I guess there won't be any problem one lah... The heat already kill all the bacterias... :x
Like seriously, I really think it's very wasted for us to spend RM48 to change it to a new one, need to wait for it to boil again and we really don't have much time left. Some more we also not say very hungry mah.. Eat for fun only, so a bit like no point changing new one lah. Right? RIGHT? :\
自我安慰。
Lol.
After finishing our dinner, we had to literally rush to the bus terminal for our coach bus at 7:30pm! So rush, me no likey. :( Hopefully next time can drive in or stay a night or two, so don't need to be so "ganjiong"! :(

Okay that's it for my last post regarding 2013! The last place I travelled to in 2013. :)
