WANLIN.K: Hongkong/China Day One

My half packed luggage the night before we went off

Woke up later than I planned to, but I think I still got quite some time, so I decided to do all my things slowly dilly dally a bit, then my Mum abit kisiao lor.. She kept shouting at me asking me to faster and all, like as if she is leaving together with like that wtf.. Was mad annoyed..

All ready to head down to the airport!

Called a cab and rushed to the budget terminal to meet B.

Had our lunch in the budget terminal before flying off.

While walking to our aircraft! (:

After 4hours, we finally landed on the island of eat shopping eat shopping! Haha..

Go overseas must take all these one..

Planned to top up our octopus card to take the train to Lo Wu so as to cross the border to Shenzhen. Luckily we met this nice lady who was there to help people who were going to take the train, she told us to take the bus cos we can save a lot! So she taught us how and we managed to get to the bus interchange and took a bus to Sheung Shui and then switched to train.

Bought my fav Vivi mag before we left Hongkong. S$6 only, cheap or what!!! Sgp Kinokuniya cheat $$ lol..

Our hotel!

We booked it for S$50/night.

Overall, what I felt about the hotel is..

EVERYTHING was good. But I felt a bit cheated, cos on Agoda.com, it stated that there are in-room comlimentary wifi, but when we arrived at the hotel and asked for the wifi, they said only the lobby has it. Wtf right..

Other than the wifi thing, will be the lights in the room. It is super dark can! Should have more brightly lid lights instead of all those useless yellow lights -.-

The pros shall be that it is really near to Dong Men and I like the toilet haha open concept. Cool.

I can say it's quite spacious!

The opposite side of the white thing is the mirror and then as you can see the basin and all.. I like it like this.

The shower and toilet bowl, separated by a wall. If I slide the door while I use the toilet bowl, the shower won't have the door lol! Lucky there's only the 2 of us hahaha :D Family confirm cannot stay in this room.

Haha just reached hotel already make until so messy idky also lol..

Waiting for the lift and off we go to Dong Men!

So we had to walk past this under tunnel to get across the road and to Dong Men, then I saw this Auntie selling this thing which all those oldies drama people love to it, recently I so into Huanzhu Gege of cos must buy one and try la, right!!

It is actually a fruit, coated with sweet stuff. The fruit inside tasted like apple and strawberry and the outer coat is super sweet, I like it. A bit crunchy + sweet + sour.

I like the design of this store so pretty!

Looked for a place to settle down and have our dinz and saw this place, seems interesting cos the name sounds like it has all the nice food in there.

But in the end, nothing caught our eyes so we went back down and I suggested this place, cos I kept seeing it wtf..

You'll have to look at the menu after you go up the stairs then order, go to the counter inside, then give them your receipts, get your tray of utensils+drink then find a seat and wait for your food.

These are the recommended ones

Surprisingly, THEY HAVE WIFI~~~ The next few days we kept standing outside and leech their wifi haha..

Then we saw this.. Keith recommended us to have this, so B went to get one and we shared.

Behind the Suan La Fen store, walk along to the back alley, you will see all these cute lil pups..

And also China's hugeass dog lol.. It's really humongous!! The photos doesn't do justice to how huge it was!!! Omg..

Then we saw a lot of people walking towards the overhead bridge to an alley out of Dong Men Walking St, B decided to follow to see where they were heading to and what was going on there.. We followed and oh god, food heaven. Hahaha!!
